Terms and conditions

Please note, it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that every possible step is taken to follow the rules listed below, this includes any damages to equipment or injuries to anyone using the Hot tub during the time of your hire. We reserve the right to refuse hire at any point to anyone we feel has not adhered to any of the rules or instructions in your agreement. The hirer will be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, damages, and the behaviour of anyone using the equipment.

Customers must acknowledge that use of the Hot tub us at their own risk. Jorvik hot tub hire will not hold be held liable for any injuries, accidents or deaths. This includes injuries or accidents from misuse of our equipment.

 

Health and Safety Rules

 

• Never use the Hot tub unsupervised ( children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)

• Hot Tubs are not suitable for any child under the age of 5. Only children who can reach the bottom of the tub with their head above the water level can use the tub with an accompanying adult.

• Never use the Hot tub under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol. This can lead to becoming unconscious and the possibility of drowning.

• Please DO NOT smoke in or around the Hot tub as this could cause damage.

• Please DO NOT use glass in the Hot tub

• We recommend that you restrict your time in the Hot tub to a maximum of 20 mins at a time as prolonged use can lead to hyperthermia. Please remember the Hot tub reaches temperatures of up to 40 degrees, so remember to regulate your body temperature.

• Do NOT submerge your head under the water level, or swallow the water.

• Pets are not allowed In the Hot tub, please ensure they are kept a safe distance away when the Hot tub is in use.

• DO NOT use any electrical appliances in or around the Hot tub, this is extremely dangerous.

• DO NOT use the Hot tub without seeking prior medical advice if you’re pregnant or suffer from diabetes, obesity, blood pressure, cardio-vascular disorders, skin conditions, fits, or a compromised immune system or any other medical condition.

• DO NOT use the Hot tub after strenuous exercise.

• Before using the Hot tub always take a shower and use the toilet before entering.

• Do not Put the cover on the Hot tub with anyone inside

• Anyone with an infectious disease is not permitted to use the Hot tub.

• Please make sure the cover is on the Hot tub when not in use to eliminate any risks of drowning.

• Please DO NOT add any detergents or foaming agents such as bubble bath, oils or shower gel etc as this will cause damage to the filter and leave the Hot tub unusable.

• If anyone in the Hot tub has any sort of allergic reaction please immediately leave the Hot tub and contact your doctor if the problem persists.

• DO NOT enter the Hot tub immediately after eating.

• DO NOT use the Hot tub if you have fake tan applied as this can cause damage and block the filter.
